New Moon on December 13th

The new moon of December, the closing month of the year, the last new moon of 2023, is located in Sagittarius.

The upper half of Sagittarius is the human figure, the symbol of "intelligence," and the lower half is the horse, the symbol of "instinct.

Sagittarius is both intellect and instinct.

The timing for using the intellect is to think, learn, and act. This New Moon gives us the power to see new worlds and learn if we want to know what we don't know. It is easy to let the small questions that arise in our busy lives slide away, but this is a good time to look back over the year and try to find answers to the questions that come to mind, opening up new possibilities.

Instincts, along with intuition and passion, are the energy sources that challenge us to go beyond our limits and to push forward as we wish. Taking action on what sparks you or what you intuitively feel is the right thing to do at this time of year will enable you to seize opportunities.

As we approach the year 2024, starting new studies or taking action at this time will help you clarify where you want to be, and having a goal or purpose that you believe in will make you more powerful in your daily life.

Like shooting a bow, set a purpose and set your mind on the present moment, when it is easy to drift away. And when you set your goals, look back on the year so far and value not only the areas where you fell short, but also the areas where you are proud of yourself. There are many things you did well and accomplished this year.

Look back on 2023, set new goals, and take action. This applies to even the smallest of daily actions.
